Chicago have just lost to detroit and they say the stars can clinch the final spot if they win against the wild but stats on nhl.com reveal that even if the stars win they will tie in points with chicago and it will end up going to the greater number of games won, chicago have won 44 and if the stars win they will have only 43 points so chicago still go to the playoffs . or am i just getting confused somewhere?

i dont know about any other teams, but lately all the dallas stars fights have been broken up. Why are they breaking them up all the sudden?
