Joining a beginner hockey league?
I'm 26 and have been going to " stick time" around twice a month or so for a couple years. My question is, what is the skill level at beginner hockey leagues. I can skate pretty fast, stopping is an issue. I have a weird way of stopping, I do a 180 basically 10 2 move. I can skate backwards but not real fast, I can pass and shoot decently. My mental game is good because I'm a video game hockey addict so I feel like I can set up pretty plays if given the chance and the physical skills. So what is organized beginner hockey like?
Would you rather see a great goal or a great save in a hockey game?
I'd rather see an amazing save. Awesome goals make me leave my feet, but great saves leave me dumbfounded.

Anyone have any suggestions as far as websites that will offer a broadcast or replay of the Saturday May 19 Russia Finland semifinal at the Hockey Worlds? Looks like NBC is being " stellar" AGAIN at showing just one of the two semis... And because NBC has the broadcast rights the games on Youtube are blocked for viewers in the U.S. Ugh... Hockey can i make it? college/NHL?
i played hockey from age 4 until 12 on travel teams. however i took a break from hockey and am 16 now bc ive been playing football and running track. is it possible for me to begin playing hockey again and reach my lifelong goal of playing in college and possibly the NHL. i really want to learn to play goalie. i have never played goalie before but have excellent reflexes. im 6'1 160lbs and have long arms and legs. i have lessons and ice time available and parents who are extremely supportive. can i make it and play in college and maybe NHL if im willing to put in the effort and time and play goalie or is it too late as many other people have been practicing the position much longer. if not could i go back to playing center which i did for 9years and with enough practice and dedication make it?
